Kings Head NYE Party

Another poster for the Kings Head in London.

Rat on Rat Piece

Here is the piece I did for Rat on Rat over the weekend. It's what I'd look like if I was an astronaut who's face melted off.

Rat on Rat

Not one of my posters, but I am involved in this show. Come on down to One Thoresby street on 8th December for a night of live music, skating and awesome visuals, hosted by my good friend John Harris.

Some photos of my Pumpkin sensormatics in various PULP! stores over the country. Exciting times!

Sailor Jerry Pop-up Weekender!

Another poster I have done for my friend Jims pub in London. I tried out some new texture effects on this one to give it an old screen printed finish.

Band of Jackals Tee

I always love a t-shirt commission. Band of Jackals asked me to come up with a shirt and this is what I came up with. Check them out, they are ace.

Kiss Pumpkins!

I am currently doing an internship at an excellent company called PULP. These are some Kiss Pumpkins I designed as part of the store Halloween decorations. If you happen to be in the Victoria Center (or near one of the 6 other stores over the country) then go check them out!

Luna 1 Poster

My friend Jem asked me to come up with a Soviet Russia style poster for his interactive film 'Luna1'. This is what I came up with.

Vinyl Countdown Temporary Tattoo

I was asked by Rescue Rooms to come up with a promotional temporary tattoo, that would be handed out on entry to the Vinyl Countdown. It features the two hosts, Carl and Sam, which made it alot of fun to design.
Get down to VC to get a a slice of genius on the body part of your choice every Thursday!

Kings Head Quiz Poster

Been doing some work for my friend Jim's pub in London recently.  I find Quiz posters to be one of the most challenging things to design for some reason. Its always just such a broad subject, that I never know where to start. This is my 3rd printed quiz poster, but my PC is a quiz poster graveyard, with the ammount of failed attempts and misconcieved, half finished ideas. This one however, worked out nicely. If your in Crouch End, check out the Kings Head, a lovely pub and I dare say a fine quiz.

Balancing Act

Whenever I don't know what to do with my day, I just do something and see what happens. This is the result of one of thoses days.

Damn my inferior eyes!

The horror of being short sighted!

Signal 2

Forgot to post this one. Signal asked me to do another flyer for their next event and this is what I came up with. I went for a pretty vivid colourscheme, but I think it comes off quite well.

Parracute.

Today, I was marginally productive.

Risque

Bit blue, but I was bored, and whenever I'm bored I just do something and see how it turns out.

Oh S**T

A quick image I came up with today. Self portrait. Pretty bleak, but in a jokey way.

Roll up, Roll up, for the most underwhelming show on Earth!

Not alot to say about this one. Other than elephants are a bitch to draw. I never quite got him right...

End of Prohbition Party!

This is an unused flyer for an event coming up at the Roundhouse. Personally, I was really happy with how this turned out, but I think it was deamed alittle too 'young' for thedesired crowd. Worth showing though.

Originally done in colour, I dropped it into sepia so help with the theme, and it turned out working much better than the coloured version, which looks very loud in comparison. I will post the finalized concept for the Prohibition Party soon as it has gone to print.

A Festival of Ale and Music

One of my most time consuming and challening projects to date, I wanted to produce something in the style of Alfons Mucha, with a result that captured the paintily, Art neauveux nature of the era/artist.

Too achieve this effect, I had to build and built layers of texture, too give its its worn, mottled look.

Quiz in a Cave

Another project for the Hand and Heart, this time a Quiz with a difference, absolutely no cheating possible. Thank god for receptionless caves.

I wanted to do something relatively simple, sharp colours, black and white cut outs, highlighting the 'anti-cheat' atmosphere of the quiz.

Hand and Heart Jazz Club

Starting working with Hand and Heart on some projects recently, and this is the product of the first event. As predicted, I'm loving the 'textured disstressed look', but at least it fits with the theme.

I'd aimed  to create a Parisian, Art Deco style film poster, and I think it came off pretty well.

Signal!

Was asked to design a flyer for an up coming night called Signal, and this is what I did. I have recently become a fan of layering textures in order to distress the image. I know I'm relatively slow coming to this type of design technique, but better late than nevs. I will probably over use it from now on.

I wanted to go for a old fashioned, bar sign sort of feel. Like a stencil done on abit of old drift wood. I managed to inquorporate some semophore men into it too, to go along with the 'signal' idea.

The Dapper Trout!

I haven't designed anything in a while, so here we have it, a very smart trout.
