Merri Making T-Shirt Collaboration!
A few months back, my good friends Meg and Harri over at Merri Making asked me to come up with a t-shirt in response to their logo. Exploring the idea of 'a wardrobe of playful ideas', I decided to get Merri, with all things festival-y. Pugs in baskets, tents, hoods, relaxing and bikes.
You can buy it here!

The Fight!
Sometimes I just start drawing and see what comes out. I wanted to draw a chicken. Then it ended up as a boxing chicken. Then the rest just kind of wrote itself...
Baw-kwarrr.

Sound of Now!
Another poster from the excellent Kings Head, Crouch End. Went for a bit of a 50's gig poster style with this one, montaged photos and choppy block colours coupled with boxed text and differing fonts give it a retro feel.
CA$H MUN£¥
I was asked by Rescue Rooms to come up with a dollar drinks voucher for the guys from Dog is Dead, for use at their after party called 'CA$H MUN£¥'. This is what I came up with.
A right couple of plums.

Karaoke Night!
Another flyer for Rescue Rooms, this time for a Karaoke night. Personally, the idea of doing Karaoke makes my toes curl, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out.

Mariachi Wall.
One of my old designs has resurfaced recently, in the form of a wall painting.
I did the design a couple of years ago for Rescue Rooms for a t-shirt - which is still available from behind the bar for £7. Go check it out, its on the wall between Rock City and Rescue Rooms. Big time!

Quizzically Challenged!
To date, my fourth quiz poster. This one was great fun. A quiz poster in the guise of a trashy gossip mag. Go do it at The Phoenix in Cavendish Square!

Kings Head Fiver
A promotional double sided voucher for The Kings Head in Crouch End.
I put a lot of thought and effort into texturing each side just right, so that they had the intricacy of a real note. I had never noticed just how much detail there is in our currency, but then I guess thats to stop people trying to forge them on Photoshop...

Merhighs and Merlots.
A pun that came to me while serving behind the bar, turned into a kind of French Art Nouveau piece. I wanted the result to resemble a label you might find on a bottle of wine too. I also tried out some subtle half toning, which is something I've not used a lot of in the past. Not 100% sure on the final text, but I don't hate it.
